Jack is a Junior in High School.

He takes his drivers test next week.

Owen is 5 and in Kindergarten.  Missi and Brandon are married almost 8 years and happy.

Andy is fully grey, his beard is white and he is no longer the Mayor.  We spend more time together now than any time before in our marriage.  He makes me crazy sometimes but there is an understanding now that I missed for all of these years.

We purchased a big double block home in Forty Fort and he is working on it all of the time.  I want it finished so we can be done with all of the hustle and bustle of "rebulding" two huge homes.

One and a half years and Jack graduates HS.  When I look back on this blog I see so much of our time together trying to just get by.  Now we are working in a nice rhythm pattern of highs and lows, but nothing is ever unmanageable.  Our lows are never that low and our highs are celebrated.

Nana is doing well.  She is currently in NM with Rick and Julie awaiting Laurens wedding November 13th  We are traveling to California for the events.

So much to say, but nothing has changed, except everything.

Me?\

Well, I am doing alright.  I have a nice comfortable life.  I am healthy and working with the same company as 22 years ago.   I really do love my work.

I wish I was a few pounds lighter but thats ok.  As long as Im able to take care of myself and my family when they need me I am very satisfied.  I enjoy a few great beautiful friends in my life.

I mean a FEW.  But the friends that I have are irreplaceable and I love them.

My life is actually all about Jack, my brother said if it weren't for being so busy with him I would not have survived this long.  I believe that to be true.

I believe I will TRY to start writing again to help transition myself from :full time hair on fire Momming hard" Suzie to HOPEFULLY... Fulltime Mom without the hair on fire desperation mode.

Current to do list

Eagle scout project

College visits

Holidays coming up

California trip

Stay healthy...

Find a house in MD for a summer place.  something small, cheap, fixer upper, so I can sit ans sun, ride my bike, go to the beack.  Have family friends over to do the same.

That is how I will transition out of the current Mom mode and try to find a Suzie Mode.  Is there such a thing?  Ever?
