Still Here!

When I think about blogging I wonder what could I write about?  I do think Facebook has taken away some of my vigor for this blog since I get to communicate alot of my dailys from that source.
Whats new?
I work at the same place for over a year!  Thats a big one.  Although it is back in the same school my career began, it is a nice predictable career.  I do make changes in peoples lives and I do like that.. I sometimes forget the impact I can have.  Until I see osmeone out in public and they are working in their field of study and HAPPY, supporting their children, and adding to society.  I didnt do that alone, but boy is it nice to think I had a hand in it.
Allie and Ryan are good.  Married a bit over 6 moths, they seem to have a routine.  They hae a lovely home, and they both work hard.  The behave like an old married couple, predictable, routine, but they like that.  They went to Texas a fe weeks ago for a getaway and had fun.  SO I guess they aren't that predicatble.
Missi and Brandon are married 3 months.  They are int heir little aprtment, it is adorable.  They are so blissfully newlyweds it makes me very happy.  Everything is new to them.  Making dinner together, laundry together, Missi got a new job inher field!! Yahoooo.  She is a paralegal at an attorneys office in Scranton.  Hooray.
They went away last weekend to Baltimore to visit with some friends and go to a few concerts.  They are happy.
Our house is good.
Quiet.
Boylike.
I amthe only female other than Honey and she is deaf and blind and never leaves the couch so.  Im pretty much a team of one.
How odd for me.
My "lifelong: partners" left me for their MEN.  aggh
My Mom is my new go to girl.  We spend alot of time together and thats really good.
Shes feeling good since her open heart surgery December 11th.  That time has flown by and now here we are as if nothing ever happened.
Mom, Jack and I are going to Florida in April for a bit of a vacation.  It is well deserved!!
Andy is well.. Very busy with work.
Out of town alot, and that is ?nice?
Im ok.
We are ok.

  It has been 75 days. When I went to bed at night I would cry, every night.  My Mom would begin the process of "bedtime" at least 30 minutes before I actually had to go to my room.  She would give me the countdown. "Next commercial break"  "Ten more minutes"  "Go get your last drink of water" Some nights she would begin to doze and I would squeeze another 10 minutes until the dreaded bed time.  When I was in High School my best friend was Amy.  I don't remember how we met or where, but somehow we just clicked.  I believe it was probably on the patio where in the 1980's you could go outside and smoke cigarettes with your friends on free mods or breaks.  Yep those were the days.   We were in 10th grade which made us 15.  I smoked Parliament light 100's  with the recessed filters (IYKYK) and she smoked Benson and Hedges.  She was a cheerleader that was so far from the "cheerleader" type it would crack us up.  We wrote notes in those days, scraps of paper that we would purge our daily trials onto, fold in some triangular football shape and pass to one another in the hall.  We could fill a note throughout the day and then I would throw it into a box for the ages to find someday.  We were able to talk endlessly about music, people, boyfriends, animals, school, college, parents, divorce, siblings, hours of chat.  We al...

 Lets talk about graduation parties!  Should I order the chicken scampi or marsala for the chicken dish?  Cakes and cupcakes or cookies?  DJ or photo booth or both? So we decorate the cake with Wyoming Seminary as a graduate or Penn State as his college destination? No, we wont talk about that.  You know, the "drophimoffandleavehimtherepart" or the "Ihaveabsolutelynopurposewithouthiminmydailygrind" lets not forget "Whenyoufoughttoliveforthisboyandnowheisgoingwhylive?" OK OK I'm not going to end my life because Jack is leaving for college, but for christs sake what the fuck is my purpose now?  I am struggling, struggling with so many things right now.
