Its all about the cup.

Making a cup of hot tea the other night, and I stood in front of the coffee cup cupboard, door open, just looking in.
"Which one of you beauties is coming upstairs with me tonight?"
Which of course got me thinking again, as I do at least ten times a day... "This is not normal behavior Suzie."
I pulled four out.
From at least twenty, that do not match, or even resemble one another.
These four were my choices for tea that night.
As you can see the one on the furthest left won.
She is from a trip to Barnes and Noble with my girls many years ago.
All cheery and really big.  I've had her maybe 12 years.  Shes been a good old standby when I want a handwarming huge cup of tea.
The next stripety one is from a Christmas gift, I don't remember who it was from, but it was full of chocolates.  I love the cup.  The bottom is smaller than the top.  It is almost funnel shaped, thats why I like it.  You don't really know its odd... until you take a closer look.  SOUND FAMILIAR?
The next one was Maryellens.  I used to go there for coffee in the morning, she would make me instant because she didn't drink "that stuff."  I used to take her cups home with me because I hadn't finished my coffee yet and didnt want to leave it behind.  I remember after she died John sent this cup down with someof her things for me to have.  I told him it was his.  He didn't believe me, saying "then why do you always have it?"  Well... I like it.
It reminds me of her.
"then keep it."
Its from teleflora I think.  How fitting.
Its really small and dainty, doesn't hold much, has a fancy twisty handle, only for those little cups.
I stuck it under my Keurig and the coffee overflowed.
Just not meant to be more than a teacup.
The last one I bought myself at Marshalls or someplace like that.
It was hip and its cool.  Makes me happy to choose it.  Swirly cirlces, and has a really chic swirly circle on the inside.
I am hip and cool like my coffee vessels.
This is just a small collection of my favs.
Since I lead such an interesting life, I am sure you will be back tomorrow to find out which socks I chose to wear.
I wish I had something magical to say tonight, about life and my view on it.
But I don't.
I'm just a gal sipping her cup of tea and thinking... "hmm where did you come from?"
