Spring time Jack.

Jack had another good day at school.  Who know that my life at 45 would revolve around the report I receive at 2pm every weekday concerning Jacks Day.  It is true I meter my day on how a six year is feeling this Day.  Not just any six year let me remind you, but my six year old.
The six year old blond haired boy that told me today that I was wearing his favorite blue shirt and HAD TO HUG ME!!!
The boy that decided his trampoline in the yard is now a stage where he dances and does his karate-not only for me as I laugh and applaud, but for the neighbors who sit on their porch and chuckle along with me.
Today he decided that he wants to sleep outside in a tent, under the moon and stars and "watch the night change to daytime."
While we were in Philadelphia this weekend he couldn't help but watch Remy do her baby girl things.  He stood close to her and laughed when she laughed, and commented on how "bouncy and springy" her hair was.  He told someone yesterday that we went to "California to the flower show to see Hawaii."
Huhh?
well we went to Philadelphia to the flower show which featured Hawaiian themed flowers and displays.
Hula dancers, fire twirlers, singers.  He loved it.
When I asked him when we should get his hair cut, he responded "Thats up to you Mommy I will just bring my hair."
He is sure to remind me that I can order pajama jeans so my pants dont leave a red mark on my belly anymore.  They are only 29.99 and I will get an extra pair for free.  Oh and I can also get a snore mouth guard that I can try for free for 30 days.  "Money back guarantee."
What else can I talk about?  He is smart and loveable.  He is the first thing I see in the morning and most nights my last thought.
He loves his Guinea pig Sally and when we went tot he pet store he wanted to pet the guinea pigs and birds.  Played with a black lab that licked his face, and that was over.
"thats gross, and I like the guinea pigs better."
He is adding, telling time and counting money.
He found a "ten cent coin." on the floor tonight,  you know not a penny, nickel, or quarter.... a ten cent coin.
He sees birds, airplanes, dogs in cars, playgrounds.
I hope he always remembers me being this in love with him.  Because  I adore this boy, good days, bad days.  Everyday.
