Ittttts coming!!

Andy and I are lying here on the bed talking about getting to sleep.
We moved our bedroom around in the spring and if you havent been here this is what we did.
Since we have an atrium in the bedroom we have a five large window end to the room. Very victorian in design, very very light filled in the am. The tops of our heads are facing almost perfectly East. If I open my eyes at the right time int he am I can see the sun rise. (If I roll over and look out the window which is eyelevel.)
That said, we now have been sleeping with the windows open every night, which is heavenly for me. Adoring the night sounds, crickets, birds of every sound, cats having rages in the neighbors yard. We have very few cars at night since the end of our road is the END OF THE ROAD.
I have not put curtains on these windows because NOTHING WORKS FOR ME. So we are left with a few thoughts tonight.
1. Drivers on the Crossvalley if they so desire can look into our windows and see us.
(If they have vision that goes at least 55 mph and can identify a highboy vs the BIG GUY.)
I do have a few thoughts though on the changing season, because IT IS COMING!!!
Our nights are cool.
I put the extra blanket on thebed.
The crickets are extra crickety, I think they are getting all their noises out since they know it is near the end of their reign.
The birds have been quiet.
My nose is stuffy, (allergies coming on)
A fe yellow leaves that float around the road here and there. Where they came from I dont know for sure.
I desire coffee that is extra strong which by the first week of September will morph into pumpkin flavored coffee.
I woke up last night and was snuggled against the big guy, his head poking put of the blankets, light on his face from the full moon, crickets whirring, and I was sniffing snorting my allergies.
Oh glorious shades of Autumn I painted my house in your honor.
our kitchen and family room the green of late summer.
Dining room and Living room, the hazlenut brown of fall.
bathroom is now yellow, for the oak leaves we see soon.
Clear blue sky in our bathroom and bedroom. the color over the river in the fall when it is chilly and clear.
So as I go on lovingly about the appoaching favorite time of the year. I will snuggle down with the big guy tonight under our blankets listen to tree frogs, crickets, and feel the wind blow through the windows rustling our blankets. I will post a few pics that make me happy and thoughtful of Sept, Oct, Nov.
aPPLE PIE. FOOTBALL, SWEATERS, BOOTS. MITTEN WITH HOODIES.
Back to school!!!
Hot coffee on the porch in the am.
As you enjoy your coffee think of this poem by Robert Frost.
And I will think of all of you, my favorite people on this whole planet.
Nothing Gold Can Stay
by Robert Frost
Nature's first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold,
Her early leaf's a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.
