Lets see what happens....

Hope springs eternal in the human breast;
Man never Is, but always To be blest:
The soul, uneasy and confin'd from home,
Rests and expatiates in a life to come.

-Alexander Pope,
An Essay on Man, Epistle I, 1733

My number one favorite movie. Peggy Sue was not a huge hit at the time it came out, and to be honest I dont remember seeing it at the time.
I believe it wasnt until I "knew" what she was feeling concerning the love for her children, and the Love/Hate she had for her husband that I really got it.
This clip is a compilation of some of the best scenes.
My favorites include her phone call with her grandmother, answering the phone as an innocent young girl and realizing she hadnt heard her voice in many years. I can just imagine hearing my Nana's voice again. What would I say? Other than you were the best and I wish you could have one day with all of us. My oldest daughter is named after you and my Mother. Could there be anything better than that?
When Peggy has the chance to really change the outcome of her life... right the "wrongs" Let go of her husband before its too "late". She chooses to do it all the same again. Can you say the same?
I can say that the choices I've made may not have been the best at the time, they may have been self centered or the easiest. But in the long run I am very very ,lucky. My greatest challenges remain my greatest achievements.
Hope you are all well.
BTW Its nice to know people are reading, I am lucky to have all of you.
Jan 10 was 3 year anniversary of Mary Ellen's death. Seems like a short time, yet she has missed so much.
I hope she and my Dad have had some time together to reminisce about all of us as I have thought of them.
I have been thinking about the forty fort cemetary again and hope to get over there when it warms up to visit some of my old friends. It seems a women has been chronicling some of the names and dates. I am thinking of writing to her to see if she needs help.
My boy has been a good boy this past week. I think he knows right when Mommy is ready to turn him over to the land of lost boys and rethinks his position in the household. He has been telling me "I missed you so much while I slept Mommy!!!"
Now how could I EVER turn him over to PeterPan with that kind of sentiment.
I must leave you now for I am being strongly encouraged by the boy to watch the movie Babe Pig in the City-
"Mommy, Mommy, hurry, turn your head look at the talking PIIIIGGGG"
I keep it between you and me that I have seen alot of talking pigs in my day, they just happen to be on two feet. BAHAHAHA
