Ok so I get the word I only have a month to live and I get anything I want wishes. Anything.
First I wish for 20 years- oh yeah thats not allowed in Suzie imaginary wish dream sequence.
Second wish for Pop to come back like nothing ever happened go back to July 06 and start the whole disaster over. All new decisions, choices and all would be "perfect".
Nope not on the wish abilities.
OK so here goes.
I get a month to spend with all my favorite people.
The first two weeks on a tropical island designated for all my Loved ones.
Friends, family, coworkers, past lovers and anyone that meant anything to me at any time would be there. Why not, Im dead in a month anyway so why not reminisce about the good, the bad, and the "not so great decisions."
We would have a two week vacation with free flowing tropical umbrella drinks and naps on the beach as I tell people why I loved them, exactly WHY I LOVE THEM.
Not because they are my third cousin twice removed but because they are generous, funny, nostalgic, a great dancer- whatever the characteristic is that makes me care for them, I will share that with them.
The third week will be the entertainment week, James Taylor will host the event with guest artist such as Natalie Merchant, the Bee gees, John Mayer, the cast from glee, a few songs from the Boston pops- the anniversary cast from Les Miserables. Then to wrap up the week of entertainment some music from Jimmy Buffett and my main man Eric Clapton.
I will spend the last one week of my life at my Mom and Dads house at 137 in the kitchen sitting at the breakfast bar.
eating, laughing and sharing stories with my children and Husband(s) brothers and sister in laws and especially my Mom.
What am I getting at. I love this song with James and Carly, They were in Love when this song was recorded. Now they dont talk at all. They had two children together and they arent civil now.
I dont want that to ever happen to me, I want people to always know that even if I am disappointed, discouraged, pissed off.
I always Love you. Its just who I am. I will always Love you if I Loved you once.
You are stuck with me.
So when my month comes up and my wishes are granted be sure to look for your invitation in the mail because YOU WILL BE INVITED.
Oh by the way, yes you can invite a friend, because I certainly cant keep everyone entertained at all times.

  It has been 75 days. When I went to bed at night I would cry, every night.  My Mom would begin the process of "bedtime" at least 30 minutes before I actually had to go to my room.  She would give me the countdown.  When I was in High School my best friend was Amy.  I don't remember how we met or where, but somehow we just clicked.  I believe it was probably on the patio where in the 1980's you could go outside and smoke cigarettes with your friends on free mods or breaks.  Yep those were the days.   We were in 10th grade which made us 15.  I smoked Parliament light 100's  with the recessed filters (IYKYK) and she smoked Benson and Hedges.  She was a cheerleader that was so far from the "cheerleader" type it would crack us up.  We wrote notes in those days, scraps of paper that we would purge our daily trials onto, fold in some triangular football shape and pass to one another in the hall.  We could fill a note throughout the day and then I would throw it into a box for the ages to find someday.  We were able to talk endlessly about music, people, boyfriends, animals, school, college, parents, divorce, siblings, hours of chat.  We al...

 Lets talk about graduation parties!  Should I order the chicken scampi or marsala for the chicken dish?  Cakes and cupcakes or cookies?  DJ or photo booth or both? So we decorate the cake with Wyoming Seminary as a graduate or Penn State as his college destination?
