Yesterday was two years since my Dads admission to the hospital. He was admitted on a I cant remember...

I cant remember the day of the week. I have found blo^s of parents that have lost children and I read them every ni^ht so I can realize the potential of loss. I feel it but cant fathom their pain. I realize we are lucky we havent had disaster, we have lost a father which is to be expected at this sta^e of our lives. doenst make it better thou^h.
My Moms car broke down today and we rented one for her to use for a few weeks until she fi^ures out what she wants to do with the car and then ^o buy another. ANYEWHO we walk into the place of rentals and it is a n absolute disaster area. mess. I Immediately thou^t shady joint and wnated to leave. Then the nicest man came out from behind the desk and immediately I thou^ht what I nice man for my mom.
hmmm MOM what? date.
He was white haired dressed nicely owner of the place, beer belly with the most amazin% %reen eyes. We chatted for about half an hour. MOm was taken with him.. What does that mean. nothin% but I was encoura^ed by my own feelin%s and the conversation we had followin^. She let me know that she would date. She would like companionship. I want her happy and if meetin% a nice older %entleman is the answer then so be it.
The bi% move is on Saturday and I am really lookin forward to it. Moms apartment is cute and she is lookin so forward to makin% some friends. Andy was there today movin some items for her and he believes as do I that this is a ^ood thin% for her.
We bou%ht tickets to the Lisa Williams show in Sept. Mom wants to ^o which is truly shockin^. psychic readin% and we have row H seats. I hope that somethin^ ^ood comes from this if even just a nite out for ALlie mom and I. Missi will not %o, absolutely not. She freaks out so easily.
Ok so finally but not leastly a bu% happy birthday to brother Dave. I am not totally sure but I do believe he is 49? yeah plain and simple OLD>
Seriously I have met a new %uy over the past two years in my brother Dave. I think I have allowed all of us to be more human and I am more $entle with everyone. I Love these people and I am so thankful to have them as family. SO Brother dave.

  It has been 75 days. When I went to bed at night I would cry, every night.  My Mom would begin the process of "bedtime" at least 30 minutes before I actually had to go to my room.  She would give me the countdown. "Next commercial break"  "Ten more minutes"  "Go get your last drink of water" Some nights she would begin to doze and I would squeeze another 10 minutes until the dreaded bed time.  When I was in High School my best friend was Amy.  I don't remember how we met or where, but somehow we just clicked.  I believe it was probably on the patio where in the 1980's you could go outside and smoke cigarettes with your friends on free mods or breaks.  Yep those were the days.   We were in 10th grade which made us 15.  I smoked Parliament light 100's  with the recessed filters (IYKYK) and she smoked Benson and Hedges.  She was a cheerleader that was so far from the "cheerleader" type it would crack us up.  We wrote notes in those days, scraps of paper that we would purge our daily trials onto, fold in some triangular football shape and pass to one another in the hall.  We could fill a note throughout the day and then I would throw it into a box for the ages to find someday.  We were able to talk endlessly about music, people, boyfriends, animals, school, college, parents, divorce, siblings, hours of chat.  We al...

 Lets talk about graduation parties!  Should I order the chicken scampi or marsala for the chicken dish?  Cakes and cupcakes or cookies?  DJ or photo booth or both? So we decorate the cake with Wyoming Seminary as a graduate or Penn State as his college destination? OK OK I'm not going to end my life because Jack is leaving for college, but for christs sake what the fuck is my purpose now?  I am struggling, struggling with so many things right now.
