Andy and I had a beautiful day together today. I think it was something we needed but I didnt realize it. We left the house this am with Jack and just decided to go antique hunting. We spent the day together and went to Goode Olde things. It is an architecture, and salvage facility. There is one in LA, Chicago, and I believe the main warehouse is here in Scranton PA. Well if anyone adores architecture and History and design and sculpture, as much as I do it was truly a memorable trip. Problem only one is it is freezing here so the warehouse is just as cold. We walked three football fields lengths filled with marble, iron, chairs, desks, fireplace mantles, mirrors, all salvage from buildings being torn down or redesigned. Huge mantles from asbury park homes of the early 1900's. The most inspiring things I saw were stained glass windows. At leat 100 yards of windows from churches synagogues banks, courthouses, homes, banks. beautiful. I found one that I loved but it was sold. Made in Argentina bronze, golds, berry, red, brown, colors. We left there and went for a lovely lunch and chatted about our finds, we didnt buy anything but we had alot to talk about. We then went to antique shops and dreamed abit more. Visited Andy's sister whom I love and then headed home. We stopped at Barnes and Nobles and got a few books and we are now home. The girls are out together skating and for dinner with their friends Jack is in the playpen after his long day with Mom and Dad and Andy just went out to pick us up a pizza. (Antonio's the best)
I am happy today. Not just for the things but the feelings I have for this man I am so lucky to call my husband. I am grateful for my healthy beautiful kids and I am feeling good lately. A few pounds down and a new pink winter coat can do wonders for a woman. (Pink coat wool double breasted, pea coat knee length love lurve lurve it)
I found this quote and I hope to give it its due justice by putting it here, If anyone does read this please leave a comment.
To Laugh often and much, to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children, to earn the appreciation if honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends, to appreciate beauty, to find the best in others, to leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch,... to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded!

I don't know you, but how can you know God if you do not seek Him? and how can you call Him 'my' God? Is God only some personal experience? Is God evolving and not eternal? Is God ok with sending people to hell? and why?
Isn't what you are thinking now, like making up your own little god? Do you have an idea what Christ did and why?
Please seek God, and cut the 'self serve style god'..ok? The Holy Bible is your first step, and a local chruch.
Ponder this: If God is all about love, what is God's defintion of 'love'? and where do you fit in?
Peace! and may God's hand touch you through His word, not mine.
