Jacks runny nose...
I guess I should know my life is pretty good if my blog entry is about my sons runny nose. Ho woke up yesterday with the rosy cheeks of sickness. If you have a child with the telltale just "slapped cheeks with fever" you know how pitiful they look. Runny nose red cheeks, cough, and just miserable attitude. I attempt to approach the boy with a tissue for the river of snot on his upper lip, he grabs what he is doing and goes the other way, running in his 15 month old way! Of course he is voicing his distaste for anything tissuelike approaching anywhere near his face by verbalizing his fathers familiar gggrrrrrrr.. Currently he is watching Sesame drinking a bottle of water and pretty content.
Andy is in NYC this week and working hard. He is considering changing his job to something so he wont be away so often. We are in process of rearranging some money inorder to buy a home and I am concerned that a change will affect our loan possibilities. Anyway Andy has always been creative with money and seems to always get it right so I continue to look for a home with character and charm without being in flood plain or in need of so much tlc we will never see it done. We are currently living in my house and it has three bedrooms but really bursting at the seams. two teenage girls, a bachelor for 20 years worth of stuff, a baby, dog cats, and me a notable packrat with anything I think I might use someday.
Last night was the last night allie could enter her applications for college and still get the school to paticipate before the end of the year, so we did her "backup" schools.

I cant believe that next year at this time she will be away at college. I will definately be hurting. We have always been a team. The girls and I. After being alone for a few years we really grew togehter as a team. I will miss her laugh on a daily basis and just her presence flying through the front door brightening anything we are doing. I will still have Missi and Jack. And Andy of course who can make me laugh at the most obscure times. Andy loves to talk, something will endter his mond and he has to verbalize it RIGHT NOW!!! childlike but loveable. He can be in the bathroom shaving and he will come into whereever I am to tell me a story or observation, shaving cream, naked, razor. Umm andy where are your clothes, "In the bathroom anyway listen to me..." I laugh and listen to my boys story. I enjoy reading but get disinterested in a book quickly. ADD. Andy has been encouraging me to read a book that he loved, he knows what I like and has been saying read it youll ove it. I was a little put off by the size of it. Anyway the other night in bed he was reading one of his Nelson Demille's and I was reading The amber room. He picked up the book Chesapeake and started reading to me. He read and read outloud to me. I watched his mouth move, his eyes move across the page and listened to the passion he put into the charcters. He loves books, and is sharing his love with me. He read for about 40 minutes, until his mouth was dry and handed the book to me and I couldnt help but begin reading it myself. But I was sure to make love with him that night with a passion. I love him for that, love love love. We slept like rocks and I dreamt about the Chesapeake river and the native american inhabitants in the 1500's.
